Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Medical Equipment Rigger/Installer and Warehouse Support professional to join our team. This dual-function role splits time between our warehouse—receiving, staging, and preparing medical transport devices for deployment—and the field, where the successful candidate will rig, move, and install sensitive medical equipment into hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. This is a physically demanding role suited to someone who takes pride in precise, safe handling of high-value equipment and enjoys variety between warehouse operations and on-site installation work.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Support
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming wheel kits and part(s) shipments
- Stage, pack, and organize wheel crates and other items for outgoing deliveries
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move equipment safely within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Keep warehouse space, loading docks, and equipment staging areas clean and organized
- Perform basic wheel prep, crating, and uncrating as needed
Rigging & Installation
- Rig, lift, and transport heavy or oversized medical equipment (e.g., CT, MRI, X-Ray, etc.) using dollies, hoists, pallet jacks, and rigging hardware
- Navigate equipment through tight facility corridors, elevators, doorways, and loading areas without damage to equipment or property
- Assist lead installers/technicians with placement, leveling, and physical set-up of equipment at client facilities
- Read and follow rigging plans, floor layouts, and manufacturer placement specifications
- Set up and break down protective coverings, ramps, and rigging equipment on-site
- Follow all safety protocols and site-specific requirements when working inside active healthcare facilities
- Communicate professionally with facility staff and represent the company on client sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of warehouse, moving, rigging, or equipment installation experience preferred
- Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification a plus, or willingness to obtain)
- Basic rigging knowledge is a plus, not required—slings, hoists, dollies, and load securing techniques
- Comfortable working in active clinical/healthcare environments and following facility protocols
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to client sites as needed
- Strong attention to detail when handling sensitive, high-value equipment
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a small install crew
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, and to meet facility-specific credentialing requirements (e.g., vaccination records, TB test, badging) prior to working on-site
Preferred Certifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 General Industry certification
- Forklift operator certification
- Rigger certification (e.g., NCCCO or equivalent) is a plus, not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 75 lbs, and assist in team-lifts of heavier equipment
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver equipment weighing several hundred pounds using proper rigging technique
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods
- Ability to safely navigate stairs, ramps, elevators, and tight spaces while moving equipment
Schedule & Travel
Schedule is not fixed and is driven by business need—both in the field and at the warehouse. Shifts may run 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on the project, and weekend or holiday work may be required to accommodate facility install windows.
This role requires significant travel, up to approximately 80% of the time. During travel weeks, the candidate may work at job sites and stay in hotels (travel and lodging arranged and covered by the company); during other weeks, the role may involve commuting from home to the warehouse for the full work week. Some weeks may be a hybrid mix of both—for example, 3 days on an install and 2 days supporting the warehouse. Flexibility and comfort with a variable travel schedule is essential.

Work Environment
Work is split between a warehouse setting and active healthcare facilities, including hospitals and outpatient clinics. Field work requires professionalism, discretion, and adherence to facility-specific safety and infection-control procedures. Some early morning, evening, or weekend work may be required to accommodate facility install windows.
