Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby/Postpartum | Travel RN

Location: Columbus, OH
Pay: $50.00–$55.00 per hour
Facility: Acute Care Hospital
ontract: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Schedule: 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby/Postpartum - BI01

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with Mother Baby, Postpartum, Couplet Care, or Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a respected acute care hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate RN who is passionate about providing exceptional care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a collaborative hospital environment.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborn infants.
Perform comprehensive maternal and newborn assessments.
Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and recovery progress.
Administer medications and IV therapy according to physician orders.
Start, maintain, and monitor peripheral IVs.
Educate patients and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Float to units with similar patient acuity as needed.
Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR.
Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care.

Minimum Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum 2 years of recent Mother Baby/Postpartum RN experience.
Previous Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience required.
Current BLS Certification.
IV Certification required.
Strong peripheral IV insertion skills.
Experience using EPIC EMR.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
