Overview

Join the KNJ Martial Arts team as a Martial Arts Instructor / Front Desk Assistant. No prior martial arts experience is required—we provide complete training. We are looking for energetic, dependable, positive individuals who enjoy working with children and families. This role combines teaching, leadership development, customer service, and mentorship in a fun, supportive, and professional environment. You'll receive hands-on training while developing valuable leadership, communication, coaching, and life skills. If you're passionate about helping children grow in confidence, respect, discipline, and character while growing as a leader yourself, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities

Assist with martial arts classes for students ages 3 and up. - Participate in our leadership training program to develop teaching, communication, classroom management, and customer service skills.
Welcome students and families, answer questions, and assist with front desk operations.
Support student learning by demonstrating techniques and encouraging positive behavior.
Help create a safe, positive, respectful, and disciplined learning environment.
Prepare training equipment and help maintain a clean, organized facility.
Build positive relationships with students and parents through friendly, professional communication.
Work as part of a team while demonstrating reliability, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
Represent KNJ Martial Arts with integrity and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

.No martial arts experience required; we provide complete training.
Passion for working with children and families.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.
Available to work evenings and Saturdays.
Previous experience in customer service, childcare, education, coaching, athletics, or leadership is a plus, but not required.
High school students, college students, and career-minded individuals are encouraged to apply.
