Full Job Description

Sushi Team Member Wanted

Experience is preferred but not required. We welcome motivated beginners who are willing to learn.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the entire sushi operation — from prep to cleaning. As a casual restaurant, we value responsibility, teamwork, and a hands-on attitude more than strict role separation.

If you take pride in your work, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

Preparing and rolling sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and other menu items.
Ensuring top-notch presentation of sushi and a high standard of food safety.
Prepping and restocking fresh ingredients for sushi (including handling fish).
Packaging and finalizing takeout/delivery orders accurately.
Washing dishes and maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked work station and kitchen environment at all times.
Assisting kitchen team members with additional tasks as needed.

What we're looking for:

Quick learner with the ability to memorize menu items and accurately recall ingredients and preparation methods.
Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills under time pressure in a busy environment.
Highly detail-oriented and organized, ensuring high-quality dish preparation and final plate presentation in a timely manner.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Eagerness to learn new skills and improve current skills.
Strong work ethic, punctual, dependable, honest, and respectful of fellow team members.
