PACU Registered Nurse - Columbus, OH | Oncology & Surgical Recovery

Licenses/Certifications: Ohio RN license, ACLS required
Experience: Minimum 2 years PACU experience (no first-time travelers)

Pay Rate: $59.18 per hour

What You'll Do

Provide post-anesthesia care to oncology and specialty surgery patients, including ENT, breast, thoracic, and neurosurgery cases.
Monitor patient recovery, manage pain, and ensure safe transfer to next care stages.
Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and interventions.
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
Assist in patient assessments and respond promptly to emergencies within the PACU setting.

What You Need
Required:

Ohio RN license
ACLS certification
At least 2 years of PACU experience
Ability to handle a variety of patient acuities, from outpatient to ICU level care

Preferred:

Experience in oncology or specialty surgeries
Strong communication and teamwork skills
