Full Job Description

Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a Columbus, OH client to help them search and qualify candidates for their Commercial Electrical Inspector position. Primary responsibilities of the job include:

· Seeking QA/QC Manager with experience with Hyperscale Datacenters, Complex Industrial Projects, or Large Scale Vertical construction

· Experience inspecting your own jobs with strong leadership skills

· Must have experience with projects from $5-50 million in size

· Must have at least 5 years’ experience as an Inspector

· Procore experience is a plus, must have MS Office Experience

A excellently qualified candidate will possess the following:

· Direct experience in preferred fields

· Proficient with MS Project, Primavera P6, and Google Docs

· A desire to do things right the first time

· Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

· Ability to foresee problems and prevent them

·Responsible for inspecting and reporting on specific aspects of construction works in progress for transportation, utility, water/wastewater and vertical construction projects.

Responsible for conducting inspections of electrical installations, including wiring, equipment, and grounding systems.
Verify compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and other relevant regulations
Assure that job site tests/ inspections, including quality control, quality assurance, and verifications are performed in accordance with the standard test/ inspection methods, project specifications, and another contract document.
Prioritize and work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
Perform all phases of field assignment. Interpret specifications, working drawings and convey intent to the contractor.
Responsible for all aspects of field inspection, testing, testing coordination, and sampling equipment.
Obtain and record field data, in a legible and organized fashion; as required by the plans, specifications, or project staff.
Generate and compile electronic field reports, maintain accurate records of inspections and reports.
Issue permits and approvals for electrical work that meets standards.
Investigate complaints and electrical incidents.
