About the job

Role Description The Chef de Cuisine is a full-time, on-site position located in Columbus, GA, responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations and delivering a consistently high-quality culinary experience. This role includes planning and executing menus for multiple dining venues, supervising food preparation and cooking, and ensuring dishes meet established standards for taste, presentation, and timeliness. The Chef de Cuisine leads, trains, and schedules kitchen team members, maintains inventory and ordering processes, and manages food costs and waste control. The role also involves enforcing strict hygiene and safety protocols, collaborating with front-of-house leaders to support member events, and responding to member feedback to continuously improve service.

Qualifications

Strong food preparation and cooking skills, with experience in upscale or club-style dining environments.
Knowledge of hygiene, food safety regulations, and kitchen sanitation best practices.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with kitchen staff, management, and front-of-house teams.
Customer service skills with the ability to respond to member preferences and feedback in a professional manner.
Proven leadership experience managing kitchen teams, including training, scheduling, and performance oversight.
Ability to plan menus, control food costs, manage inventory, and work within budget guidelines.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events and service periods.
Culinary degree or professional chef training preferred; relevant work experience in a similar role strongly valued.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by club operations.
