About Us:

Barrington School is committed to providing exceptional care and education for children. We foster a nurturing environment where staff, parents, and children work together to create a positive and engaging learning experience. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chef to join our team.

Position: Head Chef

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with staff to ensure the well-being and education of children.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with staff and parents.
Adhere to Barrington School and ODJFS policies and procedures.
Perform assigned kitchen duties during scheduled hours.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed, such as:
Providing breaks for colleagues
Assisting as an extra person in classrooms
Participating in bus runs

Professional Development

Attend 6 hours of Professional Development annually, as required by ODJFS.
Participate in monthly staff meetings to stay informed and engaged.

Requirements

Dress according to Barrington School's uniform policy.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Capability to bend and stand for extended periods.
