Soliant has an opening for an Inpatient Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week or longer travel or local contract at a hospital in the Columbus, Ohio area. As a travel pharmacist with Soliant, you will enjoy a compensation package built for travelers, including tax-free stipends covering housing, meals, and travel-related expenses, weekly pay, and medical benefits.

Employment Type: Travel Contract or Local Contract

Assignment Length: 13 weeks or longer

Work Hours: Two shifts available — Day Shift, Monday through Friday or 7 on 7 off Night Shift
Industry: Healthcare / Hospital Pharmacy

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, including monitoring, evaluation, and assurance of quality medication use
Perform drug utilization review and clinical monitoring across hospital units
Provide accurate and timely drug information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
Oversee the distribution and control of drugs and other pharmaceutical products throughout the facility
Deliver additional patient services as requested by the healthcare team
Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with established pharmacy policies, procedures, and guidelines
Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations and hospital standards

Experience

Minimum one year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working independently in a hospital pharmacy environment

Skills

Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Effective communicator with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
Adaptable and reliable across both day and night shift schedules
Patient-focused with a commitment to quality medication use and safety

Qualifications

Active Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy is required

Education

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education-accredited college of pharmacy required
