Responsibilities
Depending on the service you provide, responsibilities may include:
- Providing safe, compassionate, and attentive care to pets
- Following client instructions and individual pet-care needs
- Feeding pets and providing fresh water
- Walking, exercising, and playing with pets
- Cleaning litter boxes and pet areas as needed
- Providing medication when qualified and authorized to do so
- Monitoring pets and communicating any concerns to the pet owner
- Providing clients with updates and photos when appropriate
- Maintaining professional communication with clients
- Providing excellent customer service
- Keeping accurate records related to services provided
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Completing agreed-upon services professionally and reliably

- Comfortable caring for different breeds, sizes, and personalities

Previous professional pet-care experience is preferred for some services, but we're open to individuals with strong personal animal-care experience and the appropriate skills for the services they wish to provide.
Additional certifications, licenses, training, or professional experience may be required for certain specialized services.

Compensation
Compensation varies depending on the service provided, experience, qualifications, and individual service arrangement.
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, equipment, transportation, and other business expenses as applicable.
