Experience: Mid Level
Salary: $110,000 - $115,000 per year

Job Details

Advise clients on complex multistate sales and use tax matters.
Perform sales and use tax nexus studies to identify state filing and collection obligations.
Conduct detailed taxability research for products, services, and business transactions.
Research and interpret state and local sales and use tax laws, regulations, and rulings.
Identify potential historical and ongoing tax exposure and develop recommendations for remediation.
Assist clients with sales and use tax audits, including audit preparation, research, documentation, and defense strategies.
Assist with Voluntary Disclosure Agreements (VDAs) and related state tax matters.
Support M&A due diligence by evaluating indirect tax exposure and potential liabilities.
Analyze client transactions, business operations, and tax processes to identify planning opportunities.
Develop practical recommendations based on technical tax research and business circumstances.
Communicate complex tax concepts and recommendations to clients who may not have a tax background.
Prepare client presentations, reports, research memoranda, and other advisory deliverables.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop solutions to complex client issues.
Utilize tax technology, research platforms, and data-analysis tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of engagements.
Manage multiple client projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and high-quality service.
