HOME HEALTH AIDE/PERSONAL CARE GIVER

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated STNA Home Health Aides to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Requirements:
- STNA license or 1 year verifiable experience as a personal care giver
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and medical terminology
- Familiarity with medical documentation and record keeping
- Ability to assist with tube feeding and medication administration
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physical ability to lift and move patients as needed
- Compassionate nature and ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families

This position is located in Columbus, OH 43223. It is 20 hours per week — 4hours daily, Monday-Friday If hired, can you reliably commute to Columbus, OH 43223 daily.
This position requires a reliable staff member 5 days a week. Would you describe yourself as a reliable person who can consistently provide personal care services for a client depending on your support for some daily living activities?
