Position Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older, and able to responsibly work around alcohol
- Craft beer and/or brewing knowledge preferred
- Must have engaging communication skills and work well with others
- Additional tasks around the brewery as required (specific training will be provided)
Essential Duties
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and move 150 lbs or more using assistive equipment as necessary
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 5 hours
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Ability to use point-of-sale system with accurate cash-handling and credit card processing required
Position Summary
The Beertender is responsible for servicing taproom customers both behind the bar and in the taproom and patio. The position requires knowledge of bar and draft operations, cleaning and hygiene, handling money, and responsible alcohol management. The ideal candidate for the Beertender is a self-motivated and independent worker able to handle a fast paced work environment. You must have great social skills and the ability to multitask. Other qualifications include politeness, strong work ethic, punctuality, attentiveness, a willingness to learn, and desire to work as a team player.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly beertender wage plus participation in tip pool: tips are shared among brewery staff, are allocated based on hours worked, and are included in biweekly paycheck. Other benefits include:

Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Operate the POS system accurately to process orders and payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and serving areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address customer inquiries regarding menu items.
- Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash register operations.
