Job Description and Duties

Serves as the primary telephone receptionist, assists public at the counter or verifies identification before admitting personnel into building and serves as the Subpoena clerk for the majority of Division uniformed personnel. Responsible for processing CHP 90, Report of Court Appearance, CHP 215, Notice to Appear, CHP 239, Proof of Service and CHP 414, Notice of correction. Sorts all incoming mail for distribution; processes CHP 520, Public Record Act Request Logs and completes quarterly reporting; assigned a P-Card and is responsible for reconciling purchases monthly; maintains inventory and orders office supplies; completes the order for the quarterly requisition items; prepares the CHP 230, Weekly Transmittal.

You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired.
