Job Title: Bookkeeper/Office Manager
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Employment Type: Full-Time, Salary

Company Overview:

We are a small, custom door manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality, custom-crafted solutions to our customers. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth financial and administrative operations of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, including vendor and customer account management.
Oversee cash flow and ensure timely financial reporting to management.
Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor transactions for accuracy.
Manage company expenses, invoice clients, and follow up on outstanding payments.
Handle office administrative tasks, including ordering office supplies, managing office correspondence, and coordinating with vendors.
Support tax preparation and audit processes by ensuring accurate and organized record-keeping.
Utilize Excel, including pivot tables and advanced reporting functions, to analyze financial data.
Collaborate with leadership to ensure financial strategies align with business objectives.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of bookkeeping or office management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced reporting techniques.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Knowledge of payroll systems and labor compliance regulations.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in the manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with general office management and administrative responsibilities.
Knowledge of tax preparation and audit processes.
