Full Job Description

SmileCrew Orthodontics recently opened a brand-new orthodontic practice in the Clarkston community, and we are looking for a high-energy Dental Front Desk Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, creating a welcoming environment, and being part of building a strong team culture as we continue to grow.

We are looking for someone with positive energy, a warm personality, and a passion for helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. Dental or orthodontic experience is a plus, but we are also open to someone with strong customer service experience who has the right attitude and ability to learn.

Schedule:

This is a part-time position with a consistent clinic day:

Thursdays: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (or until all responsibilities are completed)
Additional partial days based on practice needs and growth

What You’ll Do:

Welcome patients and families with a friendly, upbeat attitude
Be the first and last impression of SmileCrew Orthodontics
Manage patient check-in and check-out
Schedule appointments and help maintain a productive schedule
Answer phones, respond to texts, and communicate with patients and families
Verify insurance benefits and assist families with treatment information
Collect payments and support treatment coordination conversations
Partner with the clinical team to create a smooth and positive patient experience
Help improve processes and contribute ideas as our practice continues to grow

Dental or orthodontic front office experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong backgrounds in customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or other patient-facing roles are encouraged to apply.
