Join our team at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Pizzeria

Position: General Manager

Location: 1444 3rd St Promenade Santa Monica, CA 90401

TMNT Pizzeria, an immersive dining experience inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is seeking a General Manager to lead our restaurant operations in Santa Monica. Join us in delivering authentic New York–style pizza in a fun, themed environment that guests love!

As the General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, drive sales and profitability, and ensure excellent guest experiences. You’ll lead the management team and staff, maintaining high standards for service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. This role reports to the District Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate all daily food and beverage operations to ensure efficient and memorable guest service including but not limited to managing staff schedules and responsibilities, kitchen operations, guest service flow and satisfaction, quality assurance, and cost controls.
Maintain visibility and accessibility to guests, staff, and vendors; maintains effective communication with all specialized managers to ensure all areas of restaurant are performing at established standards.
Assist in all areas of the restaurant as needed while maintaining safety sanitation standards.
Oversee and maintain effective cost control techniques to maximize restaurant financial performance using financial statements, COGS, food costs, labor costs, and budgeting.
Support all Managers on the achievement of their financial and operational targets as set by Upper Management.
Establish and maintain effective internal controls within the restaurant.
Support District Manager in business planning and the creative development of new F&B experiences and events as approved by licensing.
Exercise quality control for both food and beverage.
Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, and county municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements
Oversee the employee lifecycle through effective leadership in recruitment, development, performance management, and offboarding of employees.
Perform other related duties as assigned by District Manager and Upper Management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly oversees front-of-house leads, team members, executive chef, and bar manager
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, and coaching employees; timekeeping, payroll approvals; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Oversee vendor relationships, inventory, and supply orders
Analyze sales data and develop strategies to boost revenue
Foster a positive work environment and strong team morale

Job Requirements

3–5 years restaurant management experience
Strong knowledge of P&L management, KPIs, and cost control
California ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
Proven leadership and operational management skills
Must pass background check
Ability to stand for 8–10+ hours
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Full-time, 40–50 hours/week including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Positive, professional attitude and adhere to company policies

Pay: $78,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
