Full Job Description

**Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal administrative tasks and possess knowledge of various legal areas such as civil litigation and trial preparation. We have a friendly and good work environment and staff that is technologically connected so initiative to thrive in a paperless environment and independent ambition and attention to detail is important.

**Duties:**

- Efiling, scheduling, coordinating, and working with other law offices, mediators, arbitrators, and courts.

- Working with clients to update, manage expectations, copy statuses and assure their attendance at hearings and meetings.

- Task manage independently and assist attorneys in scheduling, updating and preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements

- Manage and organize case files and documents

- Draft correspondence and communicate with clients

- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

- Utilize legal databases like Clio, Box, and LawPay for research and document management

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant

- Proficiency in proofreading legal documents for accuracy

- Familiarity with various legal areas including civil litigation, real estate law, corporate law, and transactional work.

- Strong knowledge of legal drafting and terminology

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment both in office and hybrid.
