Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care across diverse healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, exceptional assessment skills, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based nursing services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting health, managing acute and chronic conditions, and supporting patient recovery through expert nursing interventions and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Duties

Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic and Cerner.
Administer medications via injections, IV infusions, catheterizations, and other methods following aseptic technique and safety protocols.
Monitor patients’ physiological parameters in acute care environments such as ICU, trauma centers, or emergency rooms, ensuring prompt response to critical changes.
Provide specialized care for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care patients, or those requiring hospice and palliative medicine.
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and specimen collection/processing while maintaining infection control standards.
Assist with complex procedures such as suturing, dialysis management, cardiac catheterization support, or ventilator management.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication administration, discharge instructions, and health coaching to promote optimal recovery and well-being.
Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR/EHR systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Experience

Proven clinical experience in hospital medicine or critical care environments such as ICU or Level I/II trauma centers.
Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in specialized settings such as long-term care facilities or assisted living communities.
Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for procedures, and medical documentation standards aligned with NCQA standards.
Prior exposure to emergency medicine, urgent care clinics, or outpatient settings is highly desirable.
Competence in managing complex cases involving trauma medicine, infectious disease care, pain management, or occupational health issues.
Ability to perform advanced skills such as telemetry monitoring, tube feeding management, ostomy care, neonatal resuscitation procedures (NRP), or neonatal ventilator support is preferred.
