Full Job Description

Experienced Accounting Manager

Location: New Hampshire (Onsite)
Salary: Up to $90,000 Base Salary (Depending on Experience)

Position Summary

Our direct-hire client is a well-established investment advisory firm specializing in retirement plans and is seeking an Accounting Manager to support client service, account administration, and office operations (including yearly benefits rollout, miscellaneous office tasks, ordering supplies etc.). This role serves as a key point of contact for clients while assisting with account maintenance, financial documentation, payroll coordination, reporting, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a professional financial services environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
Assist with new account setup, account maintenance, transfers, and related documentation.
Maintain accurate client records and ensure all paperwork is processed efficiently and compliantly.
Coordinate client communications, meetings, and follow-up activities.
Support payroll administration, benefit updates, and related reporting functions.
Assist with cash management, account reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping.
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation for management and advisors.
Enter and maintain data within company systems and financial software.
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal team members as needed.
Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of administrative and operational tasks.
Assist with quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and financial information.
Provide general office and administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

3-5 years of accounting, client services, financial services, banking, wealth management, and administrative experience.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Experience with financial, accounting, CRM, or portfolio management software is a plus.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Professional demeanor and commitment to providing outstanding client service.

Preferred Experience

Investment advisory, wealth management, banking, insurance, accounting, or financial services industry experience.
Familiarity with payroll, bookkeeping, or QuickBooks.
Experience handling confidential financial and client information.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary up to $90,000 depending on experience.

8:30 - 5pm or 10:oo am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
