SUMMARY: Responsible for the oversight, development, and implementation of Revive Recovery Resource Center’s Criminal Justice (CJ) programming in alignment with Recovery Navigation and Community Support for Justice-Involved Individuals.
This position will lead statewide efforts to provide peer recovery support services to individuals with substance use disorder and co-occurring conditions involved in the criminal justice system at any stage, including pre-trial, incarceration, pre-release, reentry, and post-release stabilization.
The Criminal Justice Program Director will ensure continuity of care, oversee program staff, manage grant compliance, and build strategic partnerships to support successful community reintegration, reduce recurrence, and improve long-term recovery outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee implementation and compliance of all activities under the contract, ensuring alignment with Scope of Services and deliverables
- Develop and manage a statewide work plan that includes in-person and virtual service delivery across criminal justice settings, including jails, prisons, courts, and community-based environments
- Ensure delivery of pre-release planning, post-release follow-up, and continuity of care services
- Supervise and support staff providing peer recovery support services to justice-involved individuals and youth
- Oversee development of individualized wellness plans, recovery goals, and stabilization strategies for participants
- Ensure participants are connected to treatment, recovery supports, housing, employment, education, transportation, and benefits
- Establish and maintain partnerships with Department of Corrections, county facilities, Probation & Parole, NH Judicial Branch, Recovery Courts, and community providers
- Ensure implementation of trauma-informed, population-appropriate, and culturally responsive approaches
- Oversee coordination of screening, referrals, and navigation services across systems of care
- Lead program expansion to ensure coverage across all phases of justice involvement, including underserved regions and populations
- Monitor program performance, including engagement, retention, service utilization, and recovery outcomes
- Develop and oversee data collection, evaluation, and reporting systems to meet all state and federal grant requirements
- Submit all required monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in compliance with Department expectations
- Lead staff training and workforce development to ensure fidelity to peer recovery support models and best practices
- Identify service gaps and implement innovative strategies to improve access and outcomes
- Support development of additional funding opportunities to sustain and expand CJ programming
- Represent Revive in statewide meetings, coalitions, and stakeholder initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all confidentiality, ethical, and regulatory requirements
- Complete other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
· Strong knowledge of the criminal justice continuum, including pretrial, incarceration, reentry, and community supervision
· Deep understanding of peer recovery support services, harm reduction, and multiple pathways of recovery
· Experience implementing continuity of care models bridging incarceration and community-based services
· Strong knowledge of housing navigation, employment supports, and benefits systems (including Medicaid)
· Experience with grant management, federal funding requirements, and performance-based reporting
· Ability to develop and implement work plans, staffing plans, and measurable performance indicators
· Strong leadership, supervision, and team development skills
· Ability to build effective partnerships across courts, corrections, behavioral health, and community organizations
· Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Experience with data tracking systems and outcome measurement
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite platforms
· Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
· Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
· Knowledge of New Hampshire systems and resources strongly preferred
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in criminal justice, social work, public health, human services, or related field
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working with justice-involved populations, substance use disorder, or behavioral health services
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or program management experience required
Experience managing or implementing federally funded programs strongly preferred
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
