Accounts Payable Clerk

Keystone Management | Concord, NH

Keystone Management is seeking an experienced and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Concord, NH. Keystone Management is a privately owned property management company managing more than 11,000 apartment homes throughout New Hampshire, Maine, and North Carolina.

This position offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative, fast-paced office environment with long-term growth potential. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and willing to take ownership of a wide range of accounting and administrative responsibilities.

Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and financial records. In addition to core accounts payable duties, this role serves as a key support resource for the Accounting Department and office operations, assisting wherever needed to help keep the organization running smoothly.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities beyond traditional accounts payable functions.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable

Process, review, and reconcile vendor invoices for payment.
Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor accounts.
Prepare and process ACH payments, checks, and wire transfers.
Research and resolve invoice, billing, payment, and vendor account discrepancies.
Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records and supporting documentation.
Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, account inquiries, and outstanding issues.
Reconcile vendor statements and ensure account balances are accurate.
Assist with month-end closing activities, reporting, and account reconciliations.
Support compliance with company accounting procedures and internal controls.

Accounting & Administrative Support

Provide general support to the Accounting Department as needed.
Assist with filing, record retention, reporting, and special projects.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related questions or issues.
Respond to changing business needs and assist with office operations as necessary.
Perform additional accounting, administrative, and office-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
Experience working with accounting software and financial systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
Experience with Yardi software strongly preferred.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Positive attitude and willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities as business needs evolve.
