We are seeking to fill an immediate full time Press Operator position on 3rd shift in our Plastics Division. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM for 3rd shift. Overtime hours are often available.
Primary Duties: a) Tends to injection molding machines to support requirements and monitor production from assigned presses. b) Conducts visual inspections of molded parts to check product quality. c) Assists with the weighing and packaging of molded parts at assigned presses. d) Performs molding support operations on an as needed basis, including assisting with the reworking of on-hold parts; sorting returned parts to isolate defects; and relieving other operators on the molding floor. e) Communicates production related issues, such as product defects and equipment problems, on a regular basis to QA and / or supervisory personnel. f) Performs general housekeeping duties related to assigned areas to eliminate safety hazards and provide a neat and clean work environment. g) May assist with the on the job training and orientation of new production personnel as assigned.
