Medical Biller – Integrated Physicians Management Services

Location: East Hartford, CT
Employment Type: Full-Time | Hybrid Schedule Available After Orientation

We are growing and looking for highly experienced Medical Billers to join our team!

Integrated Physicians Management Services (IPMS), a premier Management Services Organization with over 25 years of excellence, is growing and seeking experienced Medical Billers to join our dedicated team. Role Overview:

As a Medical Biller, you’ll ensure timely and accurate billing and collections, maximizing reimbursement and maintaining strong relationships with clients, payers, and internal teams. We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller with hands-on experience managing the full revenue cycle process. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with claim submission, payment posting, denial management, insurance follow-up, revenue cycle management and resolving outstanding accounts receivable. This role is not a front-desk, scheduling, or insurance verification position; we are specifically seeking candidates with direct medical billing experience.

What You'll Do:

Manage end-to-end revenue cycle (billing, claims, payments, denials, A/R)
Working Accounts Receivables
Follow up on Denied Claims
Constructing appeals, corrected claims and reconsideration, resubmit to insurance company
Ensure compliance with CPT, ICD-9/10, and insurance regulations
Maintain communication with patients, providers, hospitals, and internal teams
Be cross-trained in billing and collections to support the team as needed
Contribute to production goals in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Skills Needed:

Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Revenue Cycle Management(RCM)
Excellent communication & organization
EHR experience (multiple systems)
Passion for accuracy, compliance & continuous improvement
Familiarity with managed care, commercial and federal insurance plans, medical terminology, and billing codes (CPT, ICD-9/10).
Comfortable with internet-based research and Microsoft Office tools

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma required.
Experience: 1–3 years preferred in a healthcare setting.
