You became a Physical Therapist to help people move better, regain their independence, and return to the lives they love.

At Youtherapy Wellness & Physical Rehab, you will have the time, support, and clinical freedom to provide focused, one-on-one care that creates meaningful results.

We are a small, growing practice making a significant difference throughout the Milford community. Our mission is to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and long-term wellness, helping patients remain active, independent, and confident beyond traditional short-term treatment.

Whether you are a new graduate looking for mentorship or an experienced Physical Therapist ready for a more personal approach to patient care, you will find a team that is committed to supporting your growth and trusting your clinical judgment.

Practice Physical Therapy the Way It Should Be Practiced

At Youtherapy Wellness & Physical Rehab, every patient receives individualized care designed around their condition, goals, and long-term quality of life.

You will work one-on-one with patients during 40-minute appointments, allowing you to perform thoughtful evaluations, provide hands-on treatment, monitor progress, and build meaningful relationships throughout the recovery process.

Our clinic works with patients experiencing orthopedic, balance, neurological, chronic pain, mobility, and age-related conditions. Patients remain with the same licensed therapist throughout their care, supporting consistency, trust, and stronger clinical outcomes.

You will also have support staff available, allowing you to spend more of your time focused on your patients and less time managing administrative responsibilities.

A Consistent Monday-Friday Schedule

This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

There are no on-call responsibilities and the clinic is closed on weekends, providing a schedule that supports both your patients and your life outside of work.

A Practice Focused on Long-Term Wellness

Youtherapy does not believe care should end the moment a patient completes a traditional episode of therapy.

The clinic combines rehabilitation, wellness, education, and fitness to help older adults, individuals with chronic conditions, and specialized populations maintain their progress and remain active over the long term.

You will have the opportunity to help patients move beyond short-term symptom relief and work toward sustainable strength, mobility, and independence.

What You Will Do

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

Complete comprehensive evaluations
Develop individualized plans of care
Provide one-on-one, evidence-based treatment
Deliver hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise
Treat orthopedic, neurological, balance, mobility, and chronic conditions
Educate patients and families throughout the recovery process
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Document patient care accurately and efficiently
Collaborate with fellow clinicians and support staff
Help patients transition from rehabilitation into long-term wellness
Build strong relationships with patients and members of the Milford community
Contribute ideas that support the continued growth of the practice

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Physical Therapist who:

Holds a current Connecticut Physical Therapist license or is eligible to obtain one
Has completed an accredited Physical Therapy program
Values individualized, patient-centered care
Communicates clearly and compassionately

Works well within a collaborative, small-team environment
