Full-Time Private Chef Opportunity – Litchfield County, CT

We are seeking a positive, energetic, full-time private chef with fine-dining experience for a family residence in Litchfield County, Connecticut. Typical service is for 4-12 people per meal.

The family has created a working farm, raising chickens, pigs, sheep, and other animals, along with greenhouses and a large garden. The ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy working with farm-fresh ingredients and participating in elements of this lifestyle.

Responsibilities include:

· Preparing daily lunch (around 12:30 PM) and dinner (typically 6:30 PM)

· Sourcing and purchasing food

· Maintaining an organized and clean back kitchen and pantry

· Utilizing the garden and farm products when available

· Collaborating as part of a household team and working comfortably around children

The family values the best possible ingredients, prepared beautifully. They enjoy a wide range of cuisines, including Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, and Italian, but also appreciate thoughtfully executed comfort foods such as grilled cheese or fried chicken.

Schedule & Benefits:

· 5 days per week (2 days off during the week)

· Hours approximately 10:00 AM–8:00 PM, depending on the evening schedule

· Access to a car for grocery shopping

· State-of-the-art kitchen equipment and well-stocked pantry

· On-site, private two-bedroom flat available

· Health insurance

· Salary starting at $100,000+ based on experience and qualifications
