Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, plus a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible professional experience.
- At least 5 years of direct experience leading enterprise technology procurement, including complex software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, telecommunications, construction technology, or technology professional-services agreements.
- At least 3 years of people-leadership experience, including responsibility for coaching, performance management, workload planning, and professional development.
- Demonstrated success leading multimillion-dollar enterprise technology negotiations, managing a significant portfolio of technology spend, and delivering measurable savings, cost avoidance, risk reduction, and supplier-performance improvements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS and cloud commercial models, software asset management, license compliance, true-ups, vendor audits, service levels, and total-cost-of-ownership analysis.
- Experience developing category strategies and leading end-to-end competitive sourcing processes, including RFI, RFP, and RFQ events, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting, implementation, and governance.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, commercial, organizational, executive-communication, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders in a decentralized or matrixed organization.
- Experience using enterprise resource planning, e-procurement, contract-lifecycle-management, service-management, or spend-analytics platforms.
- Experience negotiating and managing enterprise agreements with major technology or construction-technology providers such as Microsoft, Autodesk, Procore, or comparable suppliers.
- Experience operating in a global, decentralized, or federated organization and coordinating demand aggregation, supplier consolidation, and global or regional contracts across multiple operating companies.
- Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, or another asset-intensive industry.
- Experience with SAP, Ariba, Coupa, ServiceNow, or comparable procurement, contract, service-management, or workflow platforms.
- Master of Business Administration or master’s degree in supply chain, finance, information systems, or a related discipline.
- CPSM, MCIPS, or an equivalent procurement certification preferred; software asset-management, contract-management, FinOps, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma credentials are a plus.
