Job Location: Willis, TX:

Full-time, In-office

Salary or Hourly Depending upon Qualifications: $75,000 TO $90,000 DOE

Job Summary:

NCS Engineers - Willis has added a position for a Land Development Engineer (EIT or PE Preferred,) to join us in our NCS Texas Land Development Department. The Land Development Engineer will support the design and coordination of residential development projects. This position involves design of grading, utilities, drainage, and site layout, with an emphasis on quality, constructability and internal collaboration with the design team. The ideal candidate is an engineer-in-training eager to learn all aspects of land development, contribute to active projects, and take on increasing responsibility as their career progresses.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
REQUIRED: Strong Project managment experience and Skills
1–5 years of experience in land development. Design experience preferred
EIT certification Preferred

Expertise in the Following is Required:

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools.
Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and utility design principles.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project deliverables and deadlines.
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including detailed report preparation.
Excellent computer, math, and English skills.
Ability to work independently on design projects.
Friendly with the ability to interact with various personalities.Duties/Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design and production of civil site development plans including grading, utilities, and stormwater systems.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
