The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care within Woodlands. The Clinical Nurse plays a vital role in coordinating care across the continuum while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. In this setting, the Clinical Nurse serves as both a clinical expert and patient advocate, contributing to seamless transitions of care, patient education, and care coordination for complex oncology populations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of nursing experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Room (ER), or Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings. Advanced Cardiac Life Support ( ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support ) Certification is also required for this position.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. Some flexibility may be required.
Hourly breakdown of salary range:
Minimum $32.69 - Midpoint $50.57 - Maximum $68.50
PLUS - Nurses will earn up to $3,120 in annual department-based differentials.

Lead patients, families, and team members toward meeting future care needs

Organize and prioritize patient care team activities, including chemotherapy/biotherapy administration

Coordinate pump connects/disconnects, antibiotic therapy, IV fluids, and IV starts

Respond rapidly to chemotherapy reactions and clinical emergencies
