Overview
Join our innovative manufacturing team as a CNC Programmer specializing in Teflon Spring Energized Seal production! In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of precision machining, utilizing advanced CNC technology to create high-quality seals that meet rigorous industry standards. Your expertise will drive efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment that values innovation and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling and lathe machines using CAM software, ensuring precision and efficiency in manufacturing Teflon spring energized seals.
Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to accurately produce components that meet strict specifications.
Set up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes, including electrical discharge machining (EDM), to produce intricate seal parts with tight tolerances.
Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA for designing tooling, fixtures, and part layouts.
Conduct precision measurements using bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision instruments to verify part dimensions.
Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity while maintaining high-quality standards.
Maintain detailed documentation of machining processes, inspection reports, and tooling setups to ensure traceability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience programming HAAS CNC lathes with a strong understanding of the HAAS Controls
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, and experience with schematics interpretation.
Solid knowledge of GD&T principles, blueprint reading, and geometric calculations essential for precision manufacturing
Experience operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM), bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.
Mechanical knowledge of tooling selection, geometry considerations, and machining best practices for plastics like Teflon.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing methodologies to improve workflow efficiency.
Excellent math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine offsets necessary for high-precision parts.
