Full Job Description

Position Summary:

Pulse Physician Organization is seeking a skilled and motivated Echo / Vascular Ultrasound Technician to join our growing cardiovascular team. The ideal candidate will perform echocardiographic and vascular ultrasound studies while providing exceptional patient care and assisting physicians in obtaining accurate diagnostic information.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform Echocardiograms and Stress Echocardiograms according to physician orders and established protocols.
Perform Vascular Ultrasound studies, including Carotid Duplex, Venous Duplex, Arterial Duplex, and Segmental Pressure examinations.
Obtain and document pertinent patient history prior to procedures.
Ensure diagnostic-quality images and measurements are obtained for physician interpretation.
Recognize and document abnormal findings when appropriate.
Prepare accurate and timely reports and maintain complete patient records.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide outstanding patient care.

Qualifications:

Cardiac Echo Technology Certification required.
Registered or registry-eligible in Cardiac and/or Vascular Ultrasound required.
Current BLS Certification required.
Experience performing echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies required.
Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy and physiology.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel between clinic locations as needed.
