Operations Manager - Multi-Location (Kingwood and Spring, TX)
We're hiring an Operations Manager to run the day-to-day of three locally-owned beauty businesses across Kingwood and Spring, TX: Blo Blow Dry Bar Kingwood, Blo Blow Dry Bar Woodson's Reserve (Spring), and LashKind Kingwood.
This is a hands-on, on-site role. You will be present at our locations, leading the team, supporting our guests, and keeping operations running cleanly. We're looking for a confident, positive leader who takes ownership, sets the tone, and can be trusted to make real-time decisions across all three businesses.

We're a family-owned, locally operated business with three locations across Kingwood and Spring, Texas: two Blo Blow Dry Bar locations and one LashKind lash studio, all within an 8-mile radius. We're locally owned (not corporate), growing, and serious about running these businesses well. What You'll Do
- Lead the team across three locations - set the tone, reinforce standards, support stylists and front desk staff, and be a steady presence in person
- Coach and develop the team - provide regular feedback, identify training needs, and reinforce skill-building for stylists and front desk staff. You're not just managing the team - you're helping them get better.
- Own weekly schedule publishing across all three locations - accurate, on time, and aligned across our scheduling systems
- Run payroll prep every two weeks - tips reports, commission calculations, time-off reconciliation, delivered clean and on deadline
- Manage inventory across three locations - keep PAR levels, place orders, coordinate with vendors so we never run out of what guests need
- Support hiring and onboarding - source, screen, interview, and onboard new stylists and front desk team members
- Handle guest concerns with confidence, warmth, and follow-through - guests should feel taken care of
- Maintain professional standards across all three locations - cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with state cosmetology and health regulations
- Coordinate with franchise coaches, vendors, and product reps as our day-to-day point person
- Keep our SOPs and systems current - document what works, fix what doesn't, and help us build a business that doesn't depend on any one person remembering everything
You Must Have
- 3+ years of management experience across two or more locations (any people-driven business - salon, spa, fitness, hospitality, retail, restaurant)
- Direct supervision experience with a team of 10+
- A real track record of accurate, on-time work - schedule publishing, payroll, inventory, anything where the details matter. We will ask for specific examples in the interview.
- Strong people leadership and customer service skills - you're the kind of leader people want to work for and guests want to come back to
- Reliable transportation and ability to drive between Kingwood and Spring locations regularly
- Availability for Fridays, Saturdays, and occasional evenings - non-negotiable
- Strong written and verbal communication with proactive follow-through - you don't wait to be chased
- Comfort picking up new software quickly - you don't need to know all of our tools on day one, but you need to learn fast
Pluses (Not Required)
- Salon, spa, fitness, or hospitality multi-location experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Bookkeeping or payroll software fluency
- Familiarity with franchise systems
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $60,000–$65,000, based on experience
- Performance bonus: up to $6,000/year based on meeting business and team performance goals (set together at the start of the role)

A positive attitude, reliability, and respect for team culture are required - operational skill without the right mindset will not be a fit. We expect ownership, follow-through, and emotional maturity, especially when things get busy or messy. When something breaks, the response we want is "what happened and how do we make sure it doesn't happen again," not "I'll try to be more careful."
