Job Summary:
The Construction Superintendent will oversee the construction of a $11MM Water Treatment Booster Pump Station project located in Hope, AR. The Construction Superintendent will lead the team of foreman, and trade craft workers in addition to the subcontractor partners. This role ensures project success through effective scheduling, field leadership, and strong collaboration with project management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a deep commitment to TOLM Group’s core values of teamwork, ownership, leadership, and ministry. This position serves as a key field leadership role and actively develops and mentors field staff to meet company standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with project stakeholders to review plans, specifications, contracts, and project scopes.
- Assist project managers with estimating labor, materials, and cost impacts of scope changes.
- Lead and manage on-site construction teams, ensuring productivity and compliance.
- Maintain daily job site logs and project documentation.
- Lead daily safety meetings and supervise JSEA (Job Safety & Environmental Analysis) preparation.
- Coordinate all on-site work, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Communicate effectively with field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Collaborate with project managers to maintain and adjust the project schedule.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractor meetings and scheduling efforts.
- Support project management and estimating teams during preconstruction.
- Enforce job safety compliance with support from the safety department.
- Train and supervise field crews to complete work effectively and safely.
- Assign tasks based on crew members' skill sets and ensure work quality.
- Provide updates on job progress and oversee vendor/supplier relationships.
- Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to all relevant procedures.
- Lead crews on specific tasks and ensure communication across all levels.
- Interpret and apply project specifications, civil/architectural/mechanical drawings.
- Manage daily equipment inspections with support from the foremen/operators.
- Participate in TOLM’s Safety Committee and assist with incident investigations.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years in a supervisory role (foreman, assistant superintendent, etc.) required.
- Post-high school trade or college education preferred.
- Experience in water and wastewater construction is required.
- Proven ability to manage crews and jobsite operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software preferred.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- OSHA knowledge and safety compliance expertise.
- High school diploma or GED required.
