WEEKEND ACTIVITY DIRECTOR

LONG TERM CARE ACTIVITY EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED AS WELL AS GOOD WORK HISTORY. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT, FUN, AND ACTIVE ROLE WITH LITTLE TO NO DOWN TIME. MUST APPLY IN PERSON TO COMPLETE APPLICATION MON-THU 10a-4p

We are currently seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented WEEKEND ACTIVITY DIRECTOR to join our team. If you have a passion for helping others and ensuring that our residents receive fun and meaningful activities, we want to hear from you!

Job Summary:

The WEEKEND ACTIVITY DIRECTOR plays a vital role in ensuring that residents have quality of life through fun and meaningful activities as planned by the Activity Director. We prefer to find a CERTIFIED ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR, but we are willing to consider those with activities experience.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that all planned activities occur on the weekends.
Ensure that documentation of attendance is completed.
Ensure that all residents are invited and encouraged to attend activities.
Adhere to all facility policies and health codes.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from residents or staff.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in long term care activities is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
Certification as an Activities Director is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
Must be able to follow directions and work as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents and staff.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
