Responsibilities

Title Processing: Prepare, submit, and track all legal paperwork for vehicle titling and registrations (both in-state and out-of-state) for retail and wholesale transactions.
Compliance & Accuracy: Review deal jackets to ensure all necessary documentation is present, signatures are complete, and trade-in titles are verified and processed in compliance with state DMV regulations.
Lien Payoffs & Titles: Process and follow up on floor plan and vehicle lien payoffs to facilitate rapid receipt of titles.
Wholesale Management: Coordinate and process titles for wholesale transactions, ensuring timely title delivery to buying dealers or auctions.
DMV Relations: Maintain a professional working relationship with state DMV offices and local tag agencies to quickly resolve any processing discrepancies or delays.
Inventory & Schedule Maintenance: Reconcile title tracking schedules and maintain clear, accurate internal logging of vehicle titles in inventory.

Qualifications

Experience: 1+ years of dealership title or registration clerk experience highly preferred.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of deal jackets, dealership documentation, and state titling regulations.
Systems: Experience with DMS and electronic registration systems (like CVR) is a plus.
Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organization, and highly accurate data entry.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for handling inquiries from customers, lenders, and the DMV.
