We’re looking for a full-time or part-time Emergency Veterinarian who is ready to jump in, make an impact, and be part of a team that truly cares. You’ll provide emergency and critical care in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. If you thrive on problem-solving, enjoy working alongside skilled colleagues, and love helping animals through critical moments, you’ll feel right at home.

About Us:

Since 2007, East Metro Animal Emergency Clinic has proudly cared for pets in Covington and surrounding communities. As a walk-in, after-hours hospital, we’re here nights (6pm-7am), weekends (24 hours), and holidays to provide trusted, compassionate care when pets need it most. Our hospital is equipped with modern, state-of-the-art tools, including ultrasound, digital radiography, an in-house lab, and advanced diagnostics, allowing you to provide the highest level of care in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities:
As a veterinarian on our team, you will:

Provide emergency and critical care to patients in need
Perform exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and treatments
Collaborate with technicians and support staff to ensure the well-being of animals
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

Qualifications & Skills:

DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Georgia
Comfortable performing surgical procedures related to emergency medicine

Willing to work overnight, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
