Job Description

Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready prior to cases.
Scrub and circulate during diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures.
Assist physicians during left and right heart catheterizations, PCI/PTCA, cardiac stent placement, angioplasty, and vascular interventions.
Perform patient preparation, including EKG lead placement, access site preparation, and procedural monitoring.
Monitor hemodynamics and recognize life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias during procedures.
Assist with venous access procedures, central line care, PICC line maintenance, and port management.
Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention and radiation safety standards.
Accurately document procedures and patient care according to facility policies.

Any Specific Mandate skill required

Float Required: Yes – Within Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology as needed
