Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dangle Head Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining dangle head machinery used in plastics production processes such as blow molding, injection molding, and extrusion. Your expertise will ensure the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of complex equipment, contributing to high-quality product output. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced industrial systems, robotic automation, and precision measurement tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will help drive continuous improvement and uphold safety standards across the plant.

Responsibilities

Operate dangle head machinery along with associated equipment including press brake machines, CNC lathes, CNC machines, and robotic systems to produce high-quality plastics components.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurement techniques to ensure products meet strict quality standards.
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on industrial equipment, applying engineering principles and safety protocols to minimize downtime.
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust machine operations for optimal performance.
Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling tools, ensuring proper fabrication and assembly of parts.
Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process, documenting measurements and ensuring compliance with specifications.
Follow lean manufacturing principles to identify opportunities for process improvements, waste reduction, and increased efficiency.
Use hand tools and fabrication techniques for minor repairs or adjustments as needed while adhering to safety guidelines.

Experience

Proven experience operating plastics production equipment such as plastics blow molding, injection molding, or extrusion machinery.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining, fabrication, and industrial equipment troubleshooting.
Familiarity with CNC machining processes including CNC lathe operations and programming is highly desirable.
Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control is preferred.
Knowledge of precision measurement techniques using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measurement instruments for quality control purposes.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment emphasizing safety protocol adherence is essential.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and perform basic math calculations related to measurements and tolerances.
