Job Type: Full-time

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Write and edit programs using MasterCam software.
Troubleshoot and problem-solve CNC production issues.
Observe machine on trial runs or conduct computer simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly and produce items that meet specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints with Geometric Tolerancing.
Hold tight tolerances.
Write setup instructions and tool list to optimize setup times.
Must possess the skills and knowledge to build custom parts.
Knowlege of raw materials and machining requirements for each. Ex. CRS, Stainless, Copper, Aluminum, etc.
Be on time and ready to work at the start of shift

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred)
5 years experience programming and running CNC Mills/Lathes are a plus.
Preferrable to have knowledge of how to make programming changes at the machine control.
MasterCam software.
CNC milling machines, (Haas 3 axis VMC) and or (Leadwell 3 axis VMC) and or (Leadwell 4+1 trunnion VMC) and or (Fadal 3 axis VMC)

WORKING CONDITIONS

LIFTING: UP TO 50lbs.
FREQUENCY: Daily

Schedule: 8-hour shift with potential overtime
Typical start time: 7 AM
Typical end time: 3:30 - 5:30 PM
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Work Location: One location
