Build a Career in Global Relocation & Logistics
Nobel Relocation is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and customer-focused Move Manager / Relocation Coordinator to join our Miami team.
This is not simply a customer-service position.
You will take ownership of relocation projects from the moment they are booked through successful final delivery, serving as the central point of communication between our customers, crews, drivers, warehouses, agents, vendors, freight partners, and internal operations teams.
Our Miami operation handles a diverse mix of relocations and logistics projects, including:
- Local and long-distance household goods moves
- International relocations
- Corporate employee relocations
- Government and military-related moves
- Office and commercial relocations
- Storage and warehousing
- High-value and specialty shipments
- Ocean, air, LTL, FTL, and other transportation services
The right person will enjoy managing multiple moving parts, solving problems, communicating with people, and making sure every customer feels that someone competent is personally overseeing their relocation.
What You'll Be Responsible For (Manage Moves From Start to Finish)
You will be assigned a portfolio of active relocations and will be responsible for keeping each shipment moving successfully through every stage.
Responsibilities include:
- Review newly booked moves and verify that all required information is complete.
- Introduce yourself to customers and establish clear expectations.
- Coordinate surveys, packing, pickup, transportation, storage, delivery, and related services.
- Maintain accurate shipment timelines and milestone dates.
- Confirm crews, drivers, agents, warehouses, vendors, and transportation arrangements.
- Monitor shipments throughout transit.
- Communicate schedule changes and shipment updates proactively.
- Coordinate domestic and international destination agents.
- Follow up on documentation and outstanding requirements.
- Identify potential service failures before they become customer problems.
- Escalate operational issues when necessary.
- Confirm successful delivery and completion of each move.
- Maintain complete and accurate shipment files.
Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience
Moving can be stressful. Our Move Managers are responsible for making the process feel organized, predictable, and professionally managed.
You will:
- Serve as the customer's primary point of contact.
- Provide clear and timely shipment updates.
- Explain the moving process and next steps.
- Respond professionally to questions and concerns.
- Set realistic expectations regarding schedules and services.
- Communicate delays or changes before the customer needs to ask.
- Coordinate solutions when unexpected situations arise.
- Maintain professionalism with demanding or high-profile customers.
- Ensure customers always know what is happening with their relocation.
We are looking for someone who communicates with confidence, empathy, accuracy, and urgency.
Coordinate With Operations
You'll work closely with our operations team to ensure that what was promised to the customer is executed correctly in the field.
This may include coordinating:
- Packing and moving crews
- Crew leaders
- Local and interstate drivers
- Tractor-trailer transportation
- Warehouse receiving and releases
- Storage-in-transit
- Permanent storage
- Origin and destination agents
- International partners
- Freight forwarders
- Ocean carriers
- Trucking companies
- Drayage providers
- Customs brokers
- Specialty crating companies
- Third-party service providers
You don't need to personally perform these services—you need to make sure the right people are performing them at the right time with the right instructions.
Documentation & Shipment Administration
Accuracy matters.
You may be responsible for maintaining or reviewing documentation such as:
- Estimates and work orders
- Bills of lading
- Inventories
- Packing documentation
- Weight tickets
- Delivery documentation
- Warehouse receipts
- Agent instructions
- Shipping documents
- Customer authorizations
- Valuation selections
- Accessorial service documentation
- International shipping documents
- Government or corporate relocation documentation
- Vendor invoices and supporting paperwork
Strong attention to detail is essential.
Problem Solving
Relocation and logistics are fast-moving industries. Trucks get delayed. Buildings change elevator availability. Customers change dates. Documentation goes missing. International shipments encounter customs or port delays.
We are looking for someone who doesn't freeze when something goes wrong.
A strong Move Manager:
Identifies the problem → understands the options → communicates clearly → takes action → follows through until it is resolved.
You should be comfortable making decisions, asking questions, escalating appropriately, and taking ownership of the outcome.
Who We're Looking For (The Ideal Candidate)
You may be a great fit if you:
- Are extremely organized.
- Naturally follow up without needing reminders.
- Communicate professionally by phone, email, and text.
- Can manage dozens of open items without losing track of details.
- Enjoy solving logistical problems.
- Remain composed when customers are stressed.
- Understand the difference between being busy and actually getting things accomplished.
- Take ownership instead of saying, "That's not my department."
- Are comfortable working with multiple departments and outside vendors.
- Learn systems and procedures quickly.
- Can prioritize urgent issues without neglecting routine responsibilities.
- Care about providing excellent service.
- Want to build a long-term career rather than simply find another job.
