Overview:

COME JOIN US IN OUR NEW OFFICE

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour (1099 Independent Contractor)

Position: Part-time (Friday, Saturday, Sundays)

Location: Huntington, NY

PrimeUC Urgent Care is a new, full-service walk-in center providing compassionate, high-quality care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Preference is given to RTs who can also assist as Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist and/or at the front desk.

Position Summary The Radiology Technician operates X-ray equipment for diagnostic imaging under established procedures and assists providers in patient care. Additional support as a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform radiographs as requested; explain procedures and ensure patient safety/comfort.
Accurately input patient history and scan supporting documentation into EMR.
Maintain infection control standards and a sterile environment.
Support providers with clinical care and patient flow when needed.
Track and manage supplies/equipment, escalating needs as appropriate.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Completion of accredited X-ray program; valid NYS Radiology License.
Certified MA and/or Phlebotomy experience preferred.
Strong patient interaction and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

Job Type: Part-Time (Fridays & weekends; full-time opportunities may be available) Work Location: On-site, Huntington, NY
