Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cash Specialist to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee cash management processes, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support the integrity of financial transactions. Your expertise will help maintain accurate financial records, prevent fraud, and uphold the highest standards of accounting practices within our organization.

Responsibilities

Manage daily cash operations, including processing deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with precision.
Monitor and detect potential fraud activities through vigilant analysis of cash transactions and patterns.
Ensure compliance with securities law, GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and other regulatory requirements.
Reconcile cash accounts regularly to maintain accurate financial records and support audit readiness.
Collaborate with banking partners to facilitate cash flow and banking transactions efficiently.
Utilize financial software for transaction processing, reporting, and analysis to support financial decision-making.
Assist in preparing regulatory reports and conducting financial analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.

Experience

Proven experience in cash management, banking operations, or related financial services roles.
Strong understanding of financial concepts such as securities law, GAAP, governmental accounting, and regulatory reporting.
Familiarity with fraud prevention techniques and detection methods within financial transactions.
Background in public accounting or investment management is advantageous.
Proficiency with financial software systems and technical accounting practices is essential.
Knowledge of SOX compliance standards and corporate accounting procedures enhances your effectiveness in this role.
