Full Job Description

Job Overview
Treves CTA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will oversee the implementation and management of the PPAP process to ensure that production parts meet all quality, regulatory, and customer requirements. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of quality assurance, compliance with industry regulations, and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Duties

Apply customer procedures and communicate the deliverables in accordance with the project schedule (via customer portals). Establish the PPAP files to guarantee obtaining the PSWs in Phase 6. Obtain the PSWs at the latest for the SOP.
Coordinate and facilitate the PPAP process for new product introductions and changes to existing parts, ensuring timely completion and approval.
Conduct quality audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards in production.
Prepare comprehensive PPAP documentation including control plans, process flow diagrams, dimensional results, material certifications, and failure mode & effects analysis (FMEA).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, regulatory compliance, and suppliers to resolve quality issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, audits, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions in accordance with quality systems requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of the PPAP process.
MUST have experience in a quality aspect working with Ford; GM experience also preferred.
Knowledge of quality standards in production and regulatory compliance requirements.
Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS), QA/QC procedures, and food safety protocols if applicable.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments and ensure clarity in documentation.
Ability to follow strict safety protocols including PPE use during all inspection activities.
