Legal Receptionist – London Office

We’re hiring a Legal Receptionist/Legal Assistant for our London office, and you’re definitely going to want to know about this role.

Please note: This position requires a 90-day onboarding period at our Richmond, KY headquarters. We will provide a weekly stipend to cover gas expenses during this onboarding period.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in one of the following settings:
Law firm
Healthcare
Financial services
Other professional environments requiring strict confidentiality and compliance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of professionalism, empathy, and emotional intelligence
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proficiency with office technology, phone systems, and basic computer applications

Job Summary

The Legal Receptionist plays a vital role in creating exceptional first impressions and building meaningful connections with clients, colleagues, and business partners. This position is highly relationship-driven and centers on communication, trust-building, and empathy. You will regularly interact with new and existing clients, quickly establish rapport, and use active listening skills to understand needs and guide conversations toward resolution.

This role requires someone who is naturally attentive to others, confident yet compassionate, and comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information in a fast-paced, professional environment. Much of the communication in this position is persuasive rather than directive, requiring an understanding of where others are coming from and the ability to guide them with warmth and professionalism.

A lively, upbeat demeanor is essential. You should enjoy engaging with people, making them feel welcome, and creating a positive experience from the very first interaction. While the role is highly people-focused, it also requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Answer and manage a multi-line phone system for a busy law firm
Serve as the first point of contact for potential and existing clients, providing a welcoming and professional experience
Conduct client intake for potential new matters
Assist with administrative and clerical tasks to support attorneys and staff
Gather and assist with marketing analytics and reporting for firm leadership
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Pay range: $33,280 – $35,360 annually ($16 – $17 hourly)
