HAZMAT, TANKERS FRONT OF THE LINE!!!!

DRIVERS WITH EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE TRACKHOE/DOZER FRONT OF THE LINE!!!

A CDL driver job varies in terms of working hours, night spend on the road, and quality of equipment operated but this is one of the fastest-growing occupations in the US. The CDL truck drivers are long-distance drivers and their job involves loading and unloading cargo onto trucks at various destinations. It is their duty to inspect the truck prior to the trip as well as at the end of the trip. Drivers assist safe unloading of cargo at warehouses and they keep a log of all working hours and miles driven. The driver must keep the vehicle clean, presentable and in good working condition. They should know how to perform minor repairs if the vehicle faces any mechanical problem in between of the trip. The driver must hold a commercial driver’s license to drive huge trucks and van.

We are looking to hire licensed Class A truck driver who will be responsible for transporting cargo from warehouse to various customers on a safe and timely manner. Take your career to the next level by joining our organization as a CDL driver. The position requires the candidate to safely operate an 18 to a 24-foot commercial vehicle to deliver products to customers to the main cities and neighboring states. The delivery task includes handing packages, rotation of stock, order accuracy assurance and occasional order pick up and return. The driver needs to be physically fit to make deliveries in a challenging location. The driver needs to work closely with multiple levels of the supply chain. He will be responsible for safe delivery and pick up of product, inventory check and need to perform overnight travel.

CDL Driver Responsibilities and Duties:

The driver needs to drive long-distance and neighboring states to deliver packages to customers.
Must load and unload freight and record cargo deliveries
Ensure the trailer is hitched properly and attached securely to the tractor unit
Pick up packages and organize them in a logical manner
Ensure the packages are properly secured inside the truck to prevent damage
Follow traffic rules and accident procedures
Inspect the vehicle and examine problems and report them to the dispatcher
Clean the vehicle daily and refuel
Keep activity log and log hours and report mechanical issues to the maintenance department
Plan various route using a GPS system or an advanced navigation system
Deliver goods to the client promptly and maintain a friendly attitude with customer

CDL Driver Skills and Qualification:

Require high school diploma/GED
Valid Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experienced driving heavy trucks and van
More than 3 years of proven experience driving a tractor-trailer
Must be 21 years of age
Physically fit enough to lift 50 pounds
Great time management skill and communication skill
Proficient using GPS and other navigation systems
Able to drive for an extended period of time
