[Job Opening] Korean-Bilingual HR Associate / Specialist / Assistant Manager

About the Company

Our client is a global core materials provider leading the next-generation mobility and green energy solution sectors. As a strategic partner to major global automotive brands and EV battery manufacturers, the company operates large-scale manufacturing sites across key global hubs, including the U.S., Korea, China, and Europe.

Position Overview

Job Title: Korean-Bilingual HR Associate / Specialist / Assistant Manager
Department: Human Resources (HR)
Reports To: HR Manager
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Commerce, GA
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $55,000 – $80,000 (Commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding: Support candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and new hire onboarding processes.
Payroll & Benefits: Manage time & attendance records, assist with payroll processing, and administer employee benefit plans.
Employee Relations (ER): Address employee inquiries, maintain positive employee relations, and foster organizational culture.
HR Administration: Maintain employee records, manage HRIS data, and draft/file HR documentation.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, OSHA standards, and internal corporate policies.
Operations Support: Provide cross-functional support for EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) and general administrative duties.

Qualifications

Language Requirements: Bilingual in English and Korean (Required) — Must be fully fluent in reading, writing, and speaking both languages in a professional business environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (Preferred).
Experience: 1 to 8 years of HR experience.
Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge of labor laws, payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel skills preferred) and familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience managing staffing agencies and contract workers.
Experience conducting employee investigations and handling disciplinary procedures.
Experience with HR audits and record-keeping compliance.
Experience working in Korean-American corporate environments.
