POSITION SUMMARY
The Hospitality Operations Specialist plays a critical role in transforming LEGACY MOTOR CLUB's hospitality footprint from an empty outdoor footprint into a premium guest experience and returning it safely and efficiently to transport following each event.
This position supports every phase of the hospitality operation, from unloading trailers and constructing hospitality infrastructure to maintaining guest-facing spaces throughout service and executing an organized breakdown at the conclusion of each event weekend.
Working closely with the Hospitality Transportation Team during setup and load-out, and reporting to the Hospitality Manager during guest operations, this individual serves as one of the most versatile members of the hospitality team. Whether assembling awnings, placing furniture, maintaining cleanliness, serving food, retrieving supplies, or interacting with guests, the Hospitality Operations Specialist helps ensure every event operates safely, efficiently, and according to LEGACY MOTOR CLUB's hospitality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Hospitality Setup & Infrastructure
Support the construction and preparation of the hospitality footprint before guest arrival.
- Unload hospitality trailers, equipment, furniture, and event assets.
- Assist with assembling awnings, canopies, furniture, equipment, and other hospitality infrastructure.
- Position furniture, décor, signage, and operational equipment according to event layouts.
- Stage buffet areas, bars, lounge seating, guest welcome areas, and support spaces.
- Verify all guest-facing spaces are clean, safe, organized, and presentation-ready prior to opening.
2. Guest Experience & Event Operations
Support hospitality operations throughout guest service while maintaining a welcoming, polished environment.
- Monitor guest areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards are maintained.
- Bus tables, wipe surfaces, restock disposables and beverages, and maintain guest-facing areas.
- Assist with food running, buffet replenishment, beverage support, and other Front of House responsibilities as needed.
- Retrieve operational supplies or equipment throughout the event.
- Engage guests with a warm, approachable attitude while directing questions to appropriate team members.
- Assist leadership in responding to changing operational priorities throughout the event.
3. Facility Maintenance & Operational Support
Help ensure the hospitality footprint remains functional, safe, and guest-ready throughout event operations.
- Monitor trash levels and replace liners before receptacles become full.
- Assist with basic operational support including power, lighting, generators, extension cords, and weather preparations.
- Identify spills, trip hazards, damaged equipment, or maintenance concerns and communicate them promptly.
- Maintain organization of storage areas, back-of-house spaces, and operational pathways.
- Support ongoing cleaning efforts to maintain the premium appearance of the hospitality environment.
4. Breakdown, Asset Protection & Trailer Reloading
Support the efficient breakdown of the hospitality footprint while protecting company assets.
- Disassemble awnings, canopies, tents, furniture, and hospitality infrastructure.
- Clean and prepare equipment for transport.
- Reload trailers according to established loading procedures and direction from the Transportation Team.
- Secure equipment to prevent damage during transport.
- Assist with inventory counts and report damaged or missing assets before departure.
- Leave the event footprint clean and ready for venue turnover.
5. Teamwork & Hospitality Culture
Contribute to a collaborative, hospitality-driven environment while supporting teammates across all departments.
- Communicate clearly with Transportation, Hospitality, Culinary, Beverage, and Partnership teams.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities throughout setup, guest service, and breakdown.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout long event days.
- Represent LEGACY MOTOR CLUB with professionalism when interacting with guests, partners, and vendors.
- Demonstrate accountability, reliability, and a willingness to assist wherever operational support is needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS
Experience & Background
- Previous experience in hospitality, event operations, catering, live events, production, warehousing, moving services, construction, or related fields preferred.
- Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions preferred.
- Forklift or equipment operation experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional (Up to 50% of Time)
- Pushing and pulling hospitality equipment, furniture, carts, and storage containers.
- Climbing ladders, stairs, or trailer ramps.
- Operating hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks, or similar equipment.
Frequent (30% of Time)
- Standing and walking for extended periods throughout event days.
- Carrying furniture, hospitality equipment, décor, supplies, and inventory.
- Lifting and lowering objects weighing up to 50 pounds individually and heavier objects with team assistance.
- Bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, twisting, and reaching while setting up or breaking down hospitality spaces.
- Loading and unloading trailers and transport vehicles.
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
- Traveling extensively throughout the NASCAR Cup Series season.
- Operating basic power tools and event equipment safely.
Constant (75% or More of Time)
- Communicating effectively with team members, guests, vendors, and leadership.

Pay: $250.00 - $500.00 per day
