Full Job Description

Part Time Transactional Attorney

Perfect position for an attorney who wants to enjoy an exciting and challenging position while having the flexibility to work remotely. Our part-time attorneys work an average of 15-20 hours per week. Friendly and supportive work environment, we pride ourselves on superior care of our employees and clients.

We are not litigators. Your experience must be with transactional based work.

Key Responsibilities of this Position:

Drafting contracts, legal due diligence, managing closing process, negotiating with counterparties.
Be computer savvy, able to effectively communicate using legal software and Office 365 tools.
Have excellent client care skills.
Collaborate with clients to offer guidance and efficient solutions
Work with firm attorneys as a team

Experience/ Qualifications:

Must have an active law license in North Carolina.
Minimum 2 years of corporate/ transactional legal experience.
Independent, self-starting, and self-motivated
Superior written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment are a must
Office 365 skills with Word, Teams, Excel and OneDrive
Proven ability to meet stringent deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and balance multiple tasks while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to think strategically and analytically
Exceptional organization skills
Effectively present information and respond to questions or challenges both in writing and in person

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
