About Poolside Agency

Poolside Agency is a fast-paced, rapidly growing 3-year-old marketing startup. With a tight-knit team of 15, we specialize in end-to-end marketing solutions for the hospitality industry. We partner with restaurants, hotels, liquor brands, and corporate chains to elevate their brands through social media, email marketing, website design, graphic design, paid ads, and more.

The Opportunity

We are looking to immediately hire a highly confident, relationship-driven Sales & Account Manager for a full-time position reporting directly to the Owner. In this role, you will be the face of Poolside Agency to our clients—closing new business, managing ongoing accounts, and onboarding one-off projects.

Because we are a growing startup, you will have a direct and highly visible impact on the growth trajectory of the company. Your hard work and success will put you in control of your financial future, with a highly rewarding commission structure built to compensate you for the growth you drive.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication & Sales: Clearly and confidently communicate Poolside Agency’s value proposition and services to hospitality business owners.
Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients. Hospitality owners are uniquely demanding; you must be willing to be accessible, making them feel consistently heard, cared for, and valued.
Internal Collaboration: Take meticulous notes during client meetings and clearly translate their needs into actionable tasks for our internal creative and marketing teams.
Project Tracking: Keep a close eye on the progress of client projects to ensure our 15-person team delivers exactly what the client needs, on time.
Conflict Resolution: Handle client feedback and potential pushback with grace. You do not get overwhelmed by confrontation; instead, you navigate it confidently to find collaborative solutions.

Who You Are

Hospitality Veteran: You have previous experience working in the hospitality industry (server, bartender, hostess, etc.). You inherently understand the fast-paced, high-stress world our clients live in.
Confident Communicator: You are comfortable holding your own in conversations with strong-willed business owners.
A "Creative Eye": While you don’t necessarily need to be a graphic designer or copywriter, you have a strong eye for creative content and know what looks good and performs well.
Highly Organized: You are a meticulous note-taker and project tracker who doesn't let details slip through the cracks.
Collaborative Team Player: You thrive in a team setting and enjoy bridging the gap between the client's vision and our internal team's execution.
Adaptable: You are excited by the fast-paced environment of a 3-year-old startup and are ready to hit the ground running full-time.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $75,000 / year (Full-Time)
Commission: Aggressive commission structure on new accounts, ongoing accounts managed, and onboarding one-off projects. (Your earning potential scales with the growth you bring to the agency).
Health & Wellness: Comprehensive Health and Dental insurance.
Retirement: 401(k) options.
Time Off: 10 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year, plus 5 days of California-mandated paid sick leave, and standard paid national holidays.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
