Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.
Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation by adhering to food safety standards and sanitation procedures throughout your shift.
Assist with meal assembly, plating, and portioning to ensure timely service during busy hours.
Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and communicate effectively about orders and special requests.
Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, knife skills, slicing techniques, and equipment operation to prevent accidents.

Experience

Previous experience in a food service environment as a line cook. Experience with Me3xican food is a plus.
Demonstrated culinary experience with knowledge of recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques.
Familiarity with food safety management practices, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
Proven ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality.
